In a community café, the food would come, as much as possible, from local farmers and gardeners. Customers would pay based on a “pay what you can” model. The café would be staffed by a paid, professional chef, but all other jobs would be performed by volunteers, by members of the Oxford Works program of the Family Resource Center, or by students in social justice or social entrepreneurship practica. The 10:30- 11:30am session is open to the public. Childcare will be provided.
