In June, our Social Justice Sundays were devoted to exploring the possible role of Hopedale in creating a socially-conscious, community cafe in Oxford.  At GA this year, our delegates were enthralled with the notion espoused by First Parish in Bedford, Massachusetts that their community outreach signifies that “the Church has left the building.”  HUUC member Ann Fuehrer will, beginning with her own thoughts, facilitate a discussion around whether and how members and friends desire a greater HUUC-identified presence outside our four walls, beyond Sunday mornings.  There will be a second collection during this service for the Oxford Food Choice Pantry. The service begins at 10:30am. Children’s Religious Education and Childcare are available.
