Diane Wright joins us for  “The Latitudes of Home.” Today across the Atlantic and into central Africa, there will be a total eclipse. The next one near us will take place in August of 2017.  “The Latitudes of Home” is a phrase from Annie Dillard’s essay on witnessing a total eclipse, in her book, “Teaching a Stone to Talk.”  We’ll talk about eclipses — both literal and figurative — and consider all the things that can come between us and the light.
