Sunday Service October 13: Ghosts in the Machine

30 years of connecting on a ‘cellular’ level.      October 13 marks exactly 30 years since the first     cellular telephone network was launched in Chicago on October 13, 1983.  It was the beginning of     something much bigger than those involved originally could have ever imagined.  People argue that we are more connected than ever before, and yet many of us worry about the quality of those connections.  We’ll take a look at the history — and the future — of these connections, and the implications for our spiritual growth. Diane Wright is our speaker.

Patty Klingenberg is service leader. Activities will be provided for children during this intergenerational service. Second Sunday offering to benefit the backpack program.
