Diane Arbus said, “A photograph is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you the less you know.”  On September 9, 1839, Sir John Herschel took the first glass plate photograph, and one could argue the world was forever changed.  Come join Diane Wright as we explore the history and power of photography, and the ways it helps us reveal — or obscure — that which is true.
