Sunday ZOOM Service – The Fifth Principle: “The Right of Conscience and the Use of the Democratic Process Within Our Congregations and in Society at Large”

 Curt Ellison invites us to think about our commitments to the kind of community where we can freely express our individual conscience through the democratic process. If we take Theodore Parker’s view that “Democracy means not ‘I am as good as you are,’ but ‘You are as good as I am,’” how do we best act on that within our congregation, and more broadly?
