January 5 marks the eve of Twelft h Night. In Medieval times, this would mean the end of the winter festival, and the end of a time of “misrule,” when social conventions were reversed. Kings became peasants; peasants became kings. Diane Wright will l help us think about more contemporary “topsy turvy”-ness, and consider what we each might do if we were chosen to be The Lord of Misrule. Patty Klingenberg is service leader.
THE SUNDAY SERVICES COMMITTEE WILL MEET IMMEDIATELY AFTER COFFEE. EVERYONE IS
INVITED TO COME AND SHARE FEEDBACK AND IDEAS!
