Sunday Service – “Lift Every Voice and Sing”

Today we reflect upon the official song of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. With words by poet and civil rights activist James Weldon Johnson and music by his brother, composer J. Rosamond Johnson, this enduring hymn has inspired many Americans in the ongoing struggle for justice, civil rights, equal opportunity and human freedom.
