We celebrate this intergenerational and unique ritual along with Unitarian Universalist
congregations around the country. Designed during the lead-up to World War II, the flow
communion became an expression of the worth of human life in all its diversity. Of course,
it is also a celebration of spring, and it marks the end of our regular church year. Bring a
flower from your garden to share. Don’t worry if you forget; we’ll have extras on hand.
