Sunday Service: Better Stories

Narrative is one of the primary modes of human thought. It is the way we articulate cause and effect, before and after. It is the way we define the good person, the good life, success, happiness, the balance between individual desire and social responsibility. The traditional
stories that have been handed down to us are not always working well, however. Patty Klingenberg will lead us in a consideration of the ways that women writers for the past two hundred years have tried to change the narrative.
